Sixth Grade Fieldtrip to Six Flags

I was so happy to be able to chaperone Michael's 6th grade field trip to Six Flags and so grateful that M was able to babysit Mark the whole day yesterday.  They had a blast and so did Michael and I. We got to Six Flags at about 10:30 and stayed until about 5 so it was quite a long day.

I only had one other kiddo to chaperone so we hooked up with a couple of other groups and spent most of the day with them.

I was put in charge of these two - Andrew and Michael.

Then we hooked up with these guys....

Handsome young men - Zach, Michael and Chase.

Zach Fullmer is the brother of Sidney Fullmer who plays Becky Gibson in Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.  I love that book, but have not seen the movie.

The boys had so much fun going on rides. Michael and his friends who didn't want to go on the Texas Giant went on the ride about 5 times while waiting for the Texas Giant group.  They had a blast!

On our way to the Aqua Man ride, we got sidetracked by the games.  Once someone won something, everyone wanted to win something.

Needless to say, a lot of money was spent that afternoon by these guys.

When we finally got to Aqua Man, we stayed there until it was almost time to go meet up with the rest of the 6th graders.  They all went on multiple times and stood on the splash bridge multiple times.  Yes, they got soaked, but by the time we left they were mostly dried off.
I was exhausted by the time our day was done and the other two moms were as well. M took Matthew and Mark for dinner at the Korean Barbecue so Michael and I decided to eat at Bonefish. A great end to a fun day!
