Update Post

I've been pretty bad a posting. Our thanksgiving break came and went. It's been big blur this past week. We went to our Town Square for the tree lighting ceremony. We had so much fun doing all the activities that we missed the actual tree-lighting. Oh well. We will try again next year!

Trying to build a snowman without gloves is the worst. Mark ended up just throwing the "snow" around.

Having a big cup pf hot chocolate on a old night with these 2 is the best. My little cuties are so precious when they are not at each others' throats...

Michael and I also volunteered to serve brunch at the senior center this week with our YMSL friends.

These people are spunky and I loved talking to them. Michael told his friend Michael that he say his future self in one of the men we served. It was pretty funny!

We spent a quiet Thanksgiving with my in-laws and I did not get one picture of it. It was pretty uneventful.

The weekend right after Thanksgiving, Michael also played in a soccer tournament with his Liverpool team.

I think I really need to get a better camera.

Thanksgiving Feast and Program

My baby had his Kindergarten feast yesterday and we got to see him perform with his other Kinder friends and classmates. They sang a few songs and I though he was terrific!

How cute are these guys?!

Post show picture...
Then it was party time!

My little Indian boy!

Mark loves himself a good game of Bingo.

Grandpa and grandma came to celebrate.

And Daddy too!

First Cross Country Meet

Matthew decided to run cross country this year which really shocked me. He is loving it so far so all is good. Yesterday was his first cross country meet and it was so fun to watch him compete. He place 72. I don't know if this is good or not, but he seems to be having fun so I don't really care.

 Getting ready to run!

 Like the flash. Haha!

Party at the Perot

This Sunday, we celebrated Mark's 6th birthday with a party at the Perot museum. I have to say that this is one of my favorite places to have a birthday party. It was easy and everybody loves this museum-even Matthew.

Since you love outer space so much, we went this that theme.

 Your name in "lights!'

You and your friends got to decorate your own rocket ship.

Then our party host dod an experiment with that required goggles.

I think everyone had a great time.

There happened to be a life-size astronaut right by our party room so we had to take pictures with him, of course.

After the party, we went over to the robotics room where Matthew programmed a rover.

And built a bridge.

Dad got to control a car in the ball battle.

It was a great party for an amazing little boy.

SIX!

Happy birthday to my Monkey #3. I'm going to say this every year, but here it is again. I cannot believe how fast you are growing up. You are still my precocious little man and I love you more than you will ever imagine.

Today, we celebrated you with having lunch with you at school.

Then later that day, we brought Popsicle treats to celebrate with your classmates. It was so fun watching you with your friends.

You've decided to wear your socks pulled all the way up this week.

When you got home from school we let you open your present. I don't know why I bothered wrapping it because you told me what to get you.

It was a chainsaw nerf gun, of course.

You probably will not remember this day, but I hope when you think of your birthdays, it will bring back good feelings. Happy 6th birthday, my love!

Halloween 2017

We had a neighborhood party this Halloween complete with a visit from our local fire department. What a cool thing to have. This is another reason I love living in Southlake - there's a huge sense of community.

We were ready for rain with our tents and portable heater. Luckily, it stayed dry.

The sweet firefighters handed out glow sticks to the kiddos.

And invited them to explore the firetrucks and ambulance they came in on.

I don't know why I love this picture so much - a dragon riding his tricycle carrying a bright pink pumpkin. I just love it.

My other two boys made an appearance eat the party but didn't stay long. They also did not go Trick-or-Treating for the first time this year. All I can say it that I'm so glad I have my little 6-year old. It lessens the blow of the other two growing up so fast.
