Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2017

We celebrated Christmas Eve a Kirby's Steakhouse. It was a nice quiet dinner with everybody and the boys dressed up for the occasion. I didn't get any pictures of us at the Steakhouse because it was so dark and the pictures would not have been good.

I did snap a few pictures of my 3 boys all dressed up!

Christmas morning, Mark found a big gift from Santa.

We opened some gifts at our house and then headed over across the street to open gifts from the Grandparents.

They all had a very good Christmas.

And Mama did too....

Sant Claus, the New Musical and Lights

Thanda and I took our littles to see a Christmas musical in Fort Worth called Santa Claus, the New Musical yesterday. It was so cute and the kids really enjoyed it. I wasn't sure how much Mark was going to be into it, but he loved it. He even wanted total pictures with the cast after the show. To be honest, I thing he was little str-struck to see the characters milling about the lobby after the show!

A short road trip to Casa MaƱana!

this little girl kills me. I love her spunk.

My little sunshine boy.

He loved having his picture taken with the cast.

It was such a beautiful day that we decided to grab lunch at a place with a patio after the show.

Then that night, we drove around to look at lights! The kids ranked the houses we passed based on how they liked how it was decorated. The highest rank went to the most colorful! Everyone was talking about the Grinch House, so of course we had to go visit. It was pretty impressive to me, but the kids ranked it only a 3. Haha...

They wanted to get out to take a picture at the Grinch House. M would have a fit if he saw that Mark wasn't wearing shoes.

Kindergarten Holiday Party

So I guess we do a pretty darn good Holiday party at WGES. We brought in Santa and of course his reindeer. I was exhaust after that party and was happy to start our winter break. It was so much fun and what great memories for the little kiddos!

He told Santa that wanted an iPad and the Super Ultimate Garage. Santa asked if he also wanted an Apple Watch and I told Santa to shut his mouth.

What?! A real live render.

These two are the cutest.

Playing some reindeer games...

These two love to hug.

He wanted to pretend to be Rudolph pulling the red red sleigh. Silly baby!

Weekend Round-Up

We had a pretty busy weekend. We had the Brown's over to decorate cookies so there was a lot of baking at our house! It was a fun night for the little ones!

Mark's elf, Snowflake arrived earlier this month and being a mischievous elf, he messed up the Rubik's cube. This was Mark's response to Snowflake's apology letter. So dang cute!

We celebrated Carter's birthday with some karate! Mark was so excited to break a board and he thought he was the bee's knees. I love him so much.

Crazy bunch of sugared-up kiddos!

Matthew's Last Cross Country Meet

Matthew competed in his last cross country meet last Saturday. I love that he loves to run and is even willing to do it in frigid temperature, but I hate that every sport takes the backseat to football in this school district.

The meet itself was a disaster. There weren't any coaches there to help these guys because there was a football playoff game and the coaches all elected to go to Waco for that instead of being here for the runners.

But Matthew ran his race and we were glad to finish this up until next year.

Third Annual Scarf Exchange

My little scarf exchange has become an annual event with my little tribe and I'm so excited that I get to host it again. I will keep doing this as long as my friends will keep coming. It's just a nice get together during a very busy time of the year. I have the best friends and we have such a good time being silly!

I didn't; get to keep this scarf for long. Anything Dragon or green will get stolen at this party.

My lovely ladies!

Christmas Festival and Breakfast with Santa!

We are full steam ahead heading to into Christmas. This week, we went the Christmas festival that one of our local churches put together. OMG! So much fun and so much to do. It was a free event and it was so much more than I expected. I mean, there were fireworks at the end of the event.

We had planned on meeting up with some friends there, but it seemed like the whole town was there. We ran into so many of our friends which was really very awesome.

Mark got some hot cocoa, played some carnival games and got lots prizes.

He spent almost an hour playing mini-golf.

Then this little monkey decided to do the rock climbing wall. He was up and down that wall so fast that even the big kids were impressed.

These two! They've been friends half their lives.

Then on Saturday, we got up bright and early to have breakfast with Santa. We actually had to cut out of this a little early because I had to take Michael to volunteer at our high school basketball tournament. But we met up with Bonny and her crew and had a great time!

He was very happy to be telling Santa Claus what he wanted for Christmas.

These four sillies...

Mayor Laura was there to enjoy the festivities too!
