First Major Meltdown

Yesterday, Mark and I went to the Asian market to get some Asian food essentials. We picked up some treats called Yan-Yan. It's basically a cookie stick that with some flavored dipping cream.  The boys like chocolate and strawberry.  I think you can find these at Target nowadays, but they are a little more expensive.

So anyway, we came home with some and Mark wanted to have some right when we got home.  When I told him he had to have his lunch first, he went into a tailspin.  The tears started flowing, then the screams.  He tried to get into the pantry.  I held the door closed and he started screaming for me to go away.

Then he walked over to the eating area and buried his face into the rug and screaming, "I want yan-yan!  Please, I just want yan-yan!"  I didn't know whether to cry or laugh.

This went on for about 10 minutes.  I went and sat down with my lunch and he finally came over and ate with me.  I felt like I won the biggest war ever. But then I felt really bad because he was hiccuping for the next 10 minutes from all that crying. My poor little baby!
