Two More Weeks!

Happy Friday morning! Two posts in a week, what? It's been a little hectic around here which is very surprising to me because I thought I would have all sorts of time now that little man is in pre-school full time. Wrong again.  I think I've overcommitted and over-volunteered a little bit. 

So I've been waking up an hour earlier to fit my quiet time back in. And it's been a little less hectic in the mornings.  This was sunrise yesterday - so pretty.

Anyway, I just wanted to give an update on our house. They say we have a week left, but with the amount of things to be completed still, I highly doubt that.  I think we have at least two more weeks.

Our master bathroom now has countertops.

No tub yet, though.

These are the three stain option for our walnut floors. We've made a decision, but hubby is going back between Jacobean and Coffee Bean - the last two.

I'm so excited for this room to be done.  Our backsplash is up and our granite is on. I'm still nervous that I haven't chosen the right things, but it's starting to come together!

Wednesday Randoms

I haven't posted in awhile and this post is totally random. We attended the CEF Culinary Celebration Fundraiser a couple of weekends ago and had a blast.  Michael went because I promised he can wear shorts.  It was a Caribbean themed party so I was totally OK with it.

Michael had his first Dawson football game a couple of Mondays ago too.  He looked super cute in his football uniform.

I went to a craft party and made this witch wreath.  I think it looks very festive and perfect for Halloween. Matthew said it looks like a witch got squished against our door.

Mark found his sunglasses and decided to wear them to watch his iPad.  He told me that the iPad was not as bright with these on. Silly goose!

Wedding Weekend

We spent our Labor Day weekend in California celebrating my cousin Ellen's wedding.  Just a little note - my Chinese wedding was on the same weekend.  So were my brother's and sister's wedding. I guess we love to get married on Labor Day weekend.

It was so great to see my family that I don't see often at all.  My Auntie and my cousins from Australia made it out here. It was really fun.

Matthew has anxiety whenever we fly anywhere so he likes to sit next to Daddy when he can.  

Sometimes these two are so sweet to each other.  Other times, not so much.

The wedding was on Saturday and it was a beautiful day for a beautiful wedding.

We only took this one to the ceremony because the other two wanted to stay home with my brother.
